I'm a writer, copy editor, project editor, proofreader and digital content creator, with some 25 years' experience in book and magazine publishing. I work predominantly in the lifestyle categories, particularly food, wine, gardening and travel, although I'm happy to get out of my professional comfort zone should the opportunity arise. You'll find a few examples of my work here.

When I'm not working, I'm wrangling two labradors, Tom and Dusty, tending (and occasionally weeping over) my subsequently ruined garden, and plotting, creating and cooking my next meal. I also like taking photographs.
